Anatol-Fiete Näher is a social scientist and physician who specializes in the social determinants of digital health in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). He specifically focuses on fairness preferences and metrics in the use of machine learning for health. Additionally, his research pays particular attention to the integration and usage of real-world and secondary health data. Evaluating digital solutions for prevention and clinical practice is another area of his expertise. Before his work as a scientist, he acquired clinical expertise as a resident in internal medicine.
