Seerene

The Seerene idea originates in a research project at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute (HPI) in 2004 and evolved into a spin-off in 2015. As an end-to-end analytics platform for organizations needing greater transparency in software development, it helps customers to transform and improve the reliability, speed and cost effectiveness of their software engineering. Seerene has since been recognized as Cool Vendor by Gartner, as B2B Scale - Up of the Year by McKinsey and Google and was recently selected by Microsoft for its ScaleUp program.

The software analytics platform reveals and monitors software projects from requirements management, over coding activities to testing and shipping releases – automatically, continuously, and graphically. This way, it enables companies to understand the relationship between developer team activities, requirements and release risks as well as the evolution of IT systems and potentially contained technical debt. With these insights, all stakeholders have a simple means of making accurate decisions, steering software development transparently, and driving change pro - actively to improve their software development organization and software delivery.

Seerene's platform relies on software repository mining, software diagnostics, machine learning on software data, and software visualization. It works across all programming languages, technology stacks, and project sizes. Being non - intrusive, it operates without changing the codebase, software development processes or actual software methodologies.

Companies use Seerene for quality and efficiency improvement, legacy modernization, vendor steering and risk mitigation. Seerene clie nts include Continental, Erste Bank, Deutsche Telekom and many other global Fortune 1000 companies.
