Our research group investigates the intersection of politics and digital technologies, with a focus on the global south and other less studied political contexts. The department is committed to knowledge dissemination, policy impact and public engagement. The research aims to develop a global picture of democracy worldwide through studies of elections in a variety of contexts, including in-depth case studies of elections.
