The Data Engineering Systems Group of Prof. Tilmann Rabl is looking for a motivated student to assist with the development of a small interactive website to compare the results of large benchmark suites in an ongoing research project. Our goal is to have a small static website that is hosted in GitHub pages on which users can compare existing results or upload their own. You have free choice of technology, as there is no existing code. As the results contain various dimensions, users should be able interactively choose the dimensions and result files of interest and get the updated plots immediately.
Ideally, you have some knowledge in front-end development and data visualization. The job will give you the opportunity to learn in these areas and dig into the current web stack and visualization tools.
The position is a standard HPI contract for either 7h/week, 9h/week, or more, depending on your interest and availability. The position is open to both bachelor and master students.
