The System Analysis and Modeling Group congratulates its longstanding Senior Researcher Leen Lambers on becoming a Professor for Practical Computer Science / Software Systems Engineering at the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.
After receiving her PhD at the Theoretical Computer Science / Formal Specifications group TU Berlin, Prof. Dr. Lambers joined our group in 2010 as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the CorMorant: Correct Model Transformations project. Later, she became a Senior Researcher with a focus on software quality.
On October 1, 2021, she started her professorship at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. Her new research group Software Systems Engineering, which she took over from Prof. Dr. Claus Lewerentz, will focus on the planning and construction of high-quality software systems using, among others, techniques such as modeling, model transformations as well as automated testing and analysis. A core application domain will be medical informatics.
More information can be found on the Software Systems Engineering group website.
We congratulate our longstanding colleague and friend on this great success and wish her all the best and continued success in her new position.
