In addition to the annual HPI Connect company contact fair, the networking event for IT companies, students and alumni of the HPI, many other career related events are organized in cooperation with the student club HPI Connect.

Besides providing a first-class university education, the HPI successfully encourages and supports its students and scientists in the implementation of new business ideas as entrepreneurs. Here we present a selection of HPI Start-ups as well as offers for consulting and coaching in the field of entrepreneurship.

Former students, researchers and teachers are all members of the HPI family. We foster our close contact and help each other to develop our mutual potential in the best way possible.

Gnosis

Gnosis is a decentralized platform for prediction markets built on Ethereum blockchain technology. It is an easy way to aggregate relevant information from both human and AI agents into one number. They raised $12.5 million in twelve minutes through a crypto token offering.

With the Gnosis prediction market platform serving as a global liquidity hub, decentralized application developers will be able to build several apps and services on top of Gnosis and thus the company will enable an evolution e.g. in the insurance and financial market.

Gnosis was founded by Martin Köppelmann and Stefan George in 2017. Both did their Bachelor and Master in IT Systems Engineering at the Hasso Plattner Institut. Before founding Gnosis they worked several years in USA.
