In addition to the annual HPI Connect company contact fair, the networking event for IT companies, students and alumni of the HPI, many other career related events are organized in cooperation with the student club HPI Connect.

Besides providing a first-class university education, the HPI successfully encourages and supports its students and scientists in the implementation of new business ideas as entrepreneurs. Point Cloud Technology offers solutions for universal Big Data Analytics analysis for 3D point clouds. The solution is based on cutting-edge technology to manage physical assets, real estate and urban environments. Decisions can be derived immediately from the knowledge gained from enormous amounts of spatial data.

Point Cloud Technology GmbH, founded in 2015 as a spin-off of the Hasso Plattner Institute for IT Systems Engineering in Potsdam, Germany, and built by the German Deep Tech incubator, offers a universal platform for big data analytics on 3D point clouds based on machine learning. Our platform is used by organizations across various sectors including manufacturing, design, surveying, asset management, transport infrastructure, real estate management, insurance and the public sector.
