On May 16, 2019, the tenth HPI Connect Fair with the speed dating procedure took place at the Hasso Plattner Institute.

This year, 24 exhibiting companies from alumni companies such as Signavio, industrial enterprises such as BOSCH, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles to tech giants such as Amazon and NGOs such as Wikimedia Germany were all looking for young IT talents.

In small groups, about 130 HPI students and alumni walked from booth to booth and were presented with the career prospects and job offers of the exhibiting companies in short presentations. Citrix from Ireland was the first company from abroad to participate in the fair. This shows how much students and HPI graduates are in demand on the international job market.

As every year, visitors to the fair were able to gain a detailed overview of the 24 companies. The subsequent program slots “Open Room” and the get-together gave additional opportunities to discuss career options in detail. 12 years after its introduction the HPI Connect Fair is still the networking event for HPI students, alumni and companies on campus.
