HPI Meets… Doctolib

On October 24, 2024 at 5 pm we warmly invite you to a HPI meets Doctolib on HPI Campus in the HPI main building, 3rd floor. The topic of the talk will be “Tech Transformation at Doctolib From Startup to ScaleUp: Evolving for next-level growth”. As usual there will be a get-together with pizza and the opportunity to mingle with the speakers after the talk.

Synopsis of the talk: 

Doctolib recently celebrated its 10th birthday. Starting as a Minimum Viable Product in Paris and after achieving rapid home market adoption Doctolib reached for expansion into new Markets, but instead hit challenges adjusting to new Customer expectations and maintaining quality as Product features and the Customer base grew. Responding to these challenges have led Doctolib down a transformation journey to remake itself through a Technological and Organization evolution that is unlocking the ability to scale into new Markets.

This evening, we’ll discuss the inflection points along the journey driving Doctolib’s technological transformation and the challenges in shifting a static organization into autonomous Product lead teams. We’ll also look at a concrete example of Doctolib’s evolution by deep diving into the transformation of the Appointment Scheduling technology at the core of the Doctolib experience.

The speakers will be Lester Perez, Engineering Director and Ognjen Regoje, Staff Engineer from Doctolib.
