Study contents: IT Systems Engineering (M.Sc.)

In the IT Systems Engineering master's degree course, you will learn to analyze and understand complex IT systems and infrastructures, develop and maintain them yourself, and acquire the Professional Skills that play an essential role in successfully managing large IT projects.

In the Master's degree program in IT Systems Engineering, you can design your timetable flexibly by choosing individual areas of specialization from a wide range of subjects.

Scope of degree

120 credit points must be earned for the Master's degree.

  • 24 credit points in the IT Systems Engineering module group
  • 6 credit points in IT-SE management skills
  • 2 specialization areas with 3 modules each:
    • Concepts and methods
    • Techniques and tools
    • Specialization
  • 12 credit points in professional skills modules
  • 12 credit points in the Master's project
  • 30 credit points in the Master's thesis
