The Human Computer Interaction group headed by Prof. Dr. Patrick Baudisch is concerned with the design and implementation of interaction devices and systems. The focus is on the research of devices that allow users a physical experience, i.e. devices in the field of haptics and physical virtual reality, as well as the fabrication technologies, such as the 3D printer and laser cutter. These technologies originate in computer science, industrial design and mechanical engineering.
