Andreas Groß graduated from the University of Rostock with a graduate degree (Diplom) in Computer Science in 2000. He wrote his thesis in the field of Computer graphics, specifically on the Visualisation of Computational Fluid Dynamics.
Currently Andreas is a research assistant at Hasso-Plattner-Institute for IT Systems Engineering and a teaching assistant and lecturer on internet technologies and E-Learning. Andreas' research interests focus on methods of tele-Teaching and Multimedia-Applications. He also heads HPI's video lecturing project "tele-TASK". Andreas is working on his PhD dissertation under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christoph Meinel, Chair for Internet Technologies and Systems.
