Franziska is affiliated with the research group "Enterprise Platform and     Integration     Concepts". Before  becoming a Ph.D. student in that research group she completed a diploma in Computer Science at the Technical university of Applied Sciences in Berlin, and a master's program at the HPI. Having attained training in Design Thinking at the HPI d.school she decided to include design research to the more technical research in Software Engineering. She is involved in various teaching activities, for example organizing the ME310 lecture and a seminar on trends and concepts in the software industry at the EPIC research group, in which students work with Design Thinking methods.
