I am Scientific Lead of the Digital Global Public Health department headed by Prof. Dr. Lothar Wieler at the Hasso Plattner Institute. It is dedicated to researching digital communication applications for improved disease prevention.
During my time at the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), I intensified my activities in the field of health and science communication and was involved in the RKI’s crisis communication during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was therefore directly confronted with the challenges of the pandemic and its impact on society, politics, the media and the implications for her own institute. Together with Prof. Dr. Lothar Wieler, I share my experiences and strategies in the workshop “Creative Resilience” and show how I have acted creatively resilient personally and in the organization.
