The HPI-Stanford Design Thinking Research Program strives to apply rigorous academic methods to understand how and why Design Thinking innovation works and fails.
The Design Thinking Community are current participants and alumni of the program. At regular workshops project teams present findings of their ongoing research.
Multidisciplinary research teams from Stanford University and HPI work on diverse topics concerned with Design Thinking, its process, method, interaction patterns and tools in order to investigate the phenomena of innovation.
All research findings are published in the volume "Understanding Innovation" as well as in various papers and articles.
Martin Reimann is a researcher at the University of Southern California (USA). His research area focuses on the psychological basics of emotions and decision behavior.
