We are happy to announce that our new MOOC "Enterprise Goes Cloud" went online this Tuesday on openSAP.
The sessions of Prof. Plattners lecture "Trends and Concepts in the Software Industry" were re-arranged for a comprehensive overview of motivations, technical details, and potentials being encountered when shifting from on-premise enterprise computing to the cloud. Current and former speakers from our research group are accompanied by colleagues from SAP to deliver a rounded-up 4-week course covering theoretical backgrounds as well as practical examples. Optionally, a hands-on exercise is available on the SAP Business Technology Platform to deploy your first example application in the cloud.
