Hasso Plattner Institute is a world-wide unique place for Digital Engineering, Design Thinking and Entrepreneurship. As a privately funded institute, we offer our students unique, tuition-free programs in IT Systems Engineering and Data Engineering that are practice- and innovation-oriented. Junior Communication Manager

Your Role

• You will support us in positioning the HPI School of Entrepreneurship and the HPI Entrepreneurship Ecosystem as a leading inter-national place and community for generating entrepreneurial impact based on digital technologies
• You will increase external communication and awareness to continuously grow our ecosystem
• You will research and create target group-specific cross-media content for print, web and social media in close coordination with the HPI School of Entrepreneurship and the HPI communication teams
• You will editorially restructure, and maintain our websites and create a regular media monitoring
• You are responsible for reporting in text and pictures of our events
• You will manage agencies to create photo/video content and graphic designs

Your Qualification

• You successfully completed your studies, preferably in the field of communication or media sciences, business administration
• You possess very good expressiveness and confidence in German and English languages
• You bring the experience and motivation to develop and execute clear ideas and flair for topics that further increase the visibility of the HPI-E-School
• You have a high affinity for startup topics and digital technologies
• You have a good knowledge of common MS Office applications, as well as Photoshop, InDesign and content management systems
• You are a team player and like to make a difference with us through a high level of initiative and outstanding communication
