Creative solutions and interdisciplinary ideas from 20 days of intensive teamwork.

The final presentations of this winter semesters Foundations Program took place Friday, 24th of February 2025. The results of 20 days of intensive project work were presented in a hybrid format. The six teams had the opportunity to present their creative and innovative solutions to challenges from different disciplines. The presentations were aimed at project partners, prospective students, and anyone interested in the practice-oriented work of the Foundations Track.

Final Presentations Foundations for Design Thinking winter semester 2024/25

Challenges from project partners

After an energetic warm-up that set the stage, the presentations started. The teams, which had been entrusted with various topics by partners such as the insurance company AXA, the German Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU), the Museum Barberini Potsdam and Plan M - Montessori Schools, presented their results.

The projects ranged from designing new social meeting spaces in schools to ideas for promoting appreciation and cohesion in working environments and interactive concepts that make art and creativity tangible for young people. Other teams focused on technical applications that adapt to individual behavior or developed flexible, child-friendly spaces that invite children to create their own surroundings.

The presentations showed how experimental approaches, and diverse perspectives can creatively lead to innovative and practical solutions.
