AI Product Champions

2 hours virtual

The virtual kick-off serves as a joint introduction to the program and the content focus for participants. In addition to an introduction to the program's schedule, working methods, and key tools, the project ideas submitted will be discussed together. If there are several topics to choose from, these can be further refined and prioritized during the kick-off to create a solid foundation for the work that will follow in the course of the program.

1 week (40 hours) on site in Potsdam

The boot camp forms the core content of the program. In a compact classroom phase, fundamental concepts of digital product management, user-centered development, and the use of artificial intelligence are taught. Participants apply this content directly to their own product or project contexts, thereby creating a common basis for the subsequent practical phase.

3 month (30 hours) virtual

During the practical phase, participants spend three months working on the further development of their own product or project idea. In addition to their own project work, they gain insights into ongoing development projects at UnternehmerTUM's Digital Product School (DPS). At the DPS, interdisciplinary teams of students work on real digital products for corporate partners.

Participants in the AI Product Champions program accompany selected phases of these projects, observe review formats, gain insights into demos, and engage in exchanges with the student teams. This perspective enables them to reflect on different approaches, decision-making logic, and development processes and to connect them with their own project work.

At the same time, participants gradually deepen their own project work: from problem validation and idea validation to prototypical implementation. The practical phase is accompanied by expert input, peer exchange, and occasional coaching sessions and serves to transfer the content learned into the participants' own work context.

2 days on site in Munich

The C-level pitch concludes the program. Participants prepare the results of their project work in a structured manner and present them in a final pitch. The focus is on presenting the project in a comprehensible manner and jointly reflecting on the results.
