At first glance, what appears to be an IT topic is essentially a cultural issue. And one that challenges the organizational structures of companies of all sizes during digital transformation. However, only a few companies have addressed the topic of low-code/no-code and its possibilities. Even fewer companies are already working with platforms and tools in this area. However, when used correctly, low-code/no-code catalyzes digital innovation. Thanks to simple development environments, so-called "citizen developers" can build simple applications. Because application development is thus transferred to the specialist departments, the core IT can concentrate on system-relevant processes and structures.
