Klaudia Thal
Klaudia Thal is an expert in communication and digital transformation. Trained in print and TV journalism, she has held various executive positions in TV and publishing in Germany and the U.S. for over 15 years. These include Germany’s largest weekly magazine, STERN, and German national broadcasting stations ARD and RTLInfoNetwork in New York City.
In 2014, Klaudia founded her own consulting company to help individuals and businesses pursue strategies for sustainability in the new work and communication culture. She suppports executives and organisations in their transformations into change leaders and how—using her journalistic eye—to create and communicate their particular stories and visions for the future. As a mother of three daughters, promoting women’s leadership is also close to Klaudia’s heart. She coaches female scientists, managers, and junior employees in leadership skills, interviewing techniques, and the delivery of noteworthy pitches and presentations.
Klaudia teaches „Innovation and Media“ at the Akademie für Publizistik and is a lecturer at the Hanse-Akademie for Leadership and Management in Hamburg. She is a certified Design Thinking coach at the Hasso-Plattner-Institut at the University of Potsdam. As a qualified yoga instructor, Klaudia also infuses mindfulness into her professional activites, believing that those who learn to overcome difficult situations while maintaining balance will be better prepared to face both personal and professional challenges.
