Marius S., Department Director at DSGV - Deutscher Sparkassen- und Giroverband, took part in our “AI and Design Thinking” workshop and gained exciting insights:
I was most impressed by my “aha” moment when I realized the enormous power that AI can unleash in an innovation process. It was really impressive to see how much time and resources can be saved when AI is used specifically for tasks such as user interviews or the creation of personas. The great combination of methodological depth and practical applications made the workshop really special for me.
A workshop that not only immerses you in the world of Design Thinking, but also shows you how to accelerate innovation processes with the support of AI without losing sight of human creativity.
Definitely. It was exciting to go through the Design Thinking process in three different ways: once in the classic way without AI, then with AI as a team member and finally fully supported by AI. This comparison made it clear to me where AI offers enormous added value - for example in analytical tasks such as data evaluation or interview simulations. At the same time, however, I also realized that people should still be at the heart of creative tasks. The workshop therefore encouraged me to use this balance in a targeted manner: AI first, then humans for analytical topics and vice versa for creative processes. In addition, the atmosphere in the workshop was simply great. Our coach Bao brought the workshop to life with her professionalism, joie de vivre and some really funny activation games. Even I, who am usually rather skeptical about such games, thought it was really good. And of course, the exchange in the group, which consisted of very different levels of expertise and departments, was a real benefit. It was great to see how each of us took away our own unique insights from these three days. And I'm sure we'll be seeing design thinking with AI more often in business now.
Thank you very much for the interview, Marius!
