But this is more than just a restructuring; it is the prelude to a strategic transformation that will exploit the potential of Design Thinking even more comprehensively. Since the early 2000s, Design Thinking has established itself as a human-centered innovation method used in numerous organizations worldwide. However, the challenges of our time require more advanced approaches. Issues such as climate change, artificial intelligence, educational equity, and human-machine interaction demand solutions beyond pure user-centricity – towards a life-centered, strategic perspective that prioritizes societal concerns.
This realization has led us to realign our study programs. For example, in the advanced Design Thinking Studios, a focus topic such as sustainability, open innovation, and digital health is at the center of each Design Thinking project.
