Donia Hamdami is a german-iranian lecturer, mentor and creative expert in the fields of production design / interior / art / ethics and innovation. Since 1990, she works solution-oriented in transdisciplinary teams. She is a certified industrial designer, and participated at the University of Wuppertal in the teaching concept "design in research- innovation in the interdisciplinary team." In addition to the promotion of innovation more focus was futureology, architecture, psychology, ethics and education.
At the University for Film HFF in Potsdam-Babelsberg she acquired a further diploma in filmarchitecture and design of new media / production design. Her debut feature film "Planet Alex" by Uli M Schüppel was shown at international festivals, up to the Museum of Modern Art.
In international advertising campaigns, Donia Hamdami developed the implementation of psychosocial triggers in an artistic imagery. She led the production design for advertisement films e.g. Nike, HypoVereinsbank, Nivea, Coca Cola, VW, Activest, Inscene, DEVK, as well as anti-smoking campaigns of national health organizations.
Since 2005, she is shareholder of FC Magnet Mitte GmbH, since 2014 sustaining member of "Flussbad Berlin".
As a "Cradle to Cradle" ambassador, she supports the "ecoeffective concept" of the "next industrial revolution"! In addition to the environmental factor, she´s particularly interested in the positive effects of respectful interaction between industry and customer, and the new understanding of consumption and capitalism, which is created by the vision of "C2C".
She lives with her husband and two daughters in Berlin, cooks pesto from wild herbs and builds stuff from waste.
