FutureNOW Challenge: making sustainability tangible in schools

Team Vamos addressed the question of how teachers can integrate socio-ecological topics such as climate change, gender equality and social participation into their lessons despite a lack of time and administrative hurdles. Their concept, the “Fast Forward Future! Challenge”, is based on a school-wide innovation competition that motivates students to develop concrete solutions for sustainability at their own school. Supported by a digital platform, a starter kit and AI-supported mentoring tools, both teachers and students are empowered to initiate sustainable change themselves.

Seedly: Feedback as a driver of development

In many companies, feedback is mainly used to assess performance - the Apple Seeds team asked themselves how feedback can become a real learning tool. With Seedly, they developed a digital tool that supports employees in integrating continuous learning into their day-to-day work. Video tutorials, AI-supported self-reflection and intelligent evaluation of feedback discussions are used to define individual development goals and create concrete learning opportunities. This enables companies to establish an open error culture and specifically promote the future skills of their employees.
