Sara Hetzel has been honored with the Otto Hahn Medal from the Max Planck Society for her outstanding PhD work! After studying Bioinformatics at FU Berlin, she graduated with a summa cum laude in 2023 from the MPI for Molecular Genetics and joined the HPI at the chair for Computational Genomics in January for her Postdoctoral work.
