Software Engineering and AI

The research group focuses on human-centered software development with and for AI. With his research, Prof. Walid Maalej aims to drive the development of trustworthy, human-centered software with AI, combining research, teaching, and technology transfer. The goal is to develop technologies that support people, foster critical thinking, and create societal value. At the same time, the aim is to promote the education of the next generation of computer scientists and thus strengthen Europe’s digital sovereignty.
