Leading high performance teams

With willpower, special skills, and self-confidence, Hendrik and his sled dogs take part in the toughest races in the world, such as the Yukon Quest through Canada and Alaska. During the race, Hendrik is alone with his dogs. He guides the team only with his voice – kilometer after kilometer, stage after stage, day and night. 1600 km through the icy wilderness, where conditions can change in a flash. This is where authentic leadership comes in because Hendrik and his dogs must be able to rely entirely on their abilities and the (mental) strength of the team under these uncertain conditions.
