The “HPI Alumni Spotlight” is back!
On July 14, three HPI alumnae will share their career journeys after graduating from the Hasso Plattner Institute and offer exclusive career tips and insights. The speakers come from various professional and business fields and have built careers both nationally and internationally. Each will give a 15-minute talk about their path, followed by a Q&A session where they’ll answer questions from the audience.
The event will take place in the D-space in HPI’s main building and will conclude with a get-together with pizzas and drinks with all participants.

Short biographies of the speakers
Prof. Dr. Luise Pufahl, Professor for Information Systems, Technical University of Munich
- Doctorate at the Hasso Plattner Institute, 2018
Prof. Pufahl's (*1986) field of research is the area of business process management and process mining. Her main research interests include analyzing and automating resource- and knowledge-intensive business processes using a range of techniques, such as operations research, process mining, simulation, and machine learning. Additionally, she investigates the use of data-aware methods for handling regulations and promoting sustainability in business processes. Her research has practical applications in industries such as healthcare and logistic.
Prof. Pufahl has studied Information Systems at the Berlin School of Economics and Law and the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. After her doctorate at the Hasso Plattner Institut at the University of Potsdam and research stays in The Netherlands and Austria, she worked as a postdoc at the Technische Universität Berlin. In 2022, she led the software and business engineering research group as an interim professor. Since 2023, she has been at the TUM, Campus Heilbronn (research group Information Systems).
Lea Voget, Teacher of mathematics, former Head of Product at Wikimedia Deutschland

Lea Voget worked in product management and Design Thinking coaching for over 15 years. Among other roles, she served as Head of Product at Wikimedia Deutschland e.V., where she built and expanded the product and project management teams from an initial three to eighteen people. She was responsible for the Linked Open Data strategy, which includes Wikidata — the world’s largest open-source knowledge base of structured data. Recently, Lea Voget became a mathematics teacher at a community school in Berlin-Kreuzberg, with the goal of strengthening democracy by fostering empowered, curious, and engaged learners.
Tina Heimer, Head of Agile Facilitators ADAS&AD at CARIAD

Tina Heimer was one of the first female students at the Hasso Plattner Institute. Immediately after graduating, she joined the Volkswagen Group, where she specialized in technical risk analyses and functional safety in vehicles. In this role, she was involved in various vehicle projects and contributed to the safe development and functionality of new technologies. Since 2018, Tina Heimer has held leadership positions. She currently leads a team of agile facilitators in the ADAS & AD department at CARIAD, Volkswagen’s software subsidiary, and is a member of the Group’s management circle.
