You are a student and want to expand your skills, methodological knowledge and innovation mindset to shape a livable future? Then the HPI d-school is the right place for you! Apply by April 12th, 2026 for the Foundations for Design Thinking program in the summer semester 2026.
In the Foundations program, you will dive into the world of Design Thinking. You will learn the methods and mindset to work together in interdisciplinary teams to develop human-centered solutions to the complex problems of our time. Working in teams, you will experience all the development phases of an innovative idea and strengthen your creative self-confidence in an inspiring work environment.
You will learn the benefits of failing early in the development of innovations, as well as celebrating shared team successes. For real-life challenges of our project partners from companies, NGOs or political institutions, you will apply newly learned methods and your knowledge to develop solutions for exciting problems.
As part of our vibrant Design Thinking community of students, coaches and alumni, you will expand your network and grow personally in a supportive environment.
