At the HPI students learn in small groups and receive the intensive support of their professors and the HPI teaching staff. Modern computer technology, attractive seminar rooms, and a campus with a wide range of facilities make daily student life comfortable.

Many opportunities are available for students to study abroad as well as to earn international practical work experience by doing an internship. Students are enrolled at University of Potsdam, from where they obtain their academic degree. The program is tuition-free.

Our bachelor’s degree program in IT Systems Engineering provides students with strong practical and software-oriented computer science skills and knowledge. The study combines the foundations of software development with engineering methodology. Emphasis is therefore not only placed on the necessary theoretical background but also on hands-on expertise.
