We are excited that our work on the canonicalization of relations in Open IE triples has been accepted as a poster at the ESWC 2022 conference. This work was led by Masters student Maria Lomaeva as part of her project module at the University of Potsdam.
In this poster, we describe the process by which we have constructed a gold dataset for the evaluation of relation canonicalization approaches. This work fills an important gap in Open IE research by enabling the quantitative evaluation of existing as well as potential new approaches for relation canonicalization. We are looking forward to interesting discussions on the topic at the conference, to be held in Greece this year.
