From MIT to HPI

Welcome to the pages of the 14th International Conference on Information Quality 2009 (ICIQ'09). Since 1996 the ICIQ conferences were held annually at MIT in Cambridge. Now ICIQ goes abroad: The Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) in Potsdam, on the border of Berlin, is privately funded and dedicated to teaching and research in IT systems engineering.

ICIQ provides a forum for both researchers and practitioners to exchange IQ knowledge and ideas and learn from each other. Practitioners and researchers present findings and experience on topics such as IQ concepts, IQ management, case studies, best practices, cost/benefit analysis, IQ and data warehousing, IQ and e-business, policies and standards. In addition to the official program, there is plenty of opportunity for informal discussions.

ICIQ'09 is co-located and co-organised with the German Information Quality Management Conference (GIQMC), hosted by the German Information Quality Society (DGIQ).
