Internationale Konferenz: Digitalisierung und Innovation

The Continuous Innovation Network (CINet) is a global network set up to bring together researchers and industrialists working in the field of Continuous Innovation. The mission of CINet is to develop into a school of thought on Continuous Innovation. Consistent with this mission, CINet organizes an annual conference. This announcement concerns the 18th CINet conference, which will take place at the University of Potsdam, 10-12 September 2017. The theme of the conference is “Digitalization and innovation: designing the organization of the future”.

Central topics at the conference are, among others, „The impact of the Internet of Things on the innovation potential“, „Transforming business models with digitalization“ and „Design thinking and innovation in the age of digital transformation“. “We are particularly interested in better understanding the emergence of Design Thinking from a method toolbox to develop new products, services, and business models to a mindset for organizations to shape their culture for the challenges of digitalization”, says Dr. Claudia Nicolai. “We will actively integrate the future research questions identified by the scientific community as a springboard to shape the dialogue at our next big international event, directly following the CIN-Conference, the d.confestival (14-16 September 2017).”

Members of the organizing committee are Prof. Dr. Christoph Meinel, HPI-Director, as well as Dr. Claudia Nicolai, Academic Director of the HPI School of Design Thinking and Prof. Ulrich Weinberg, Director of the HPI D-School.
