Philipp is a Post-Doc at the Center for Design Research at Stanford University. He received a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. His research interest is in understanding how to create and manage high-performance engineering design teams. His experience includes work for major tier one and two automotive manufacturers, in the defence industry, and in teaching design thinking in the US and abroad.
