Women in Tech: Step into Your IT Career

The Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) offers 15 career scholarships to motivated and committed female computer science students. The scholarships include tickets for the renowned "European Women in Technology" conference, as well as a networking day to improve skills and step into a successful IT-career. The conference is one of Europe's largest trade fairs for women in the tech industry and is being organized this year as a global online festival.

Talking together about IT career paths, finding inspiration and gaining new professional skills - that's what the Hasso Plattner Institute's career scholarships are all about. After all, the proportion of women in the IT industry is still stagnating, as it is in IT lecture halls, and there is often a lack of exchange and role models for one's own career path.

The scholarships are aimed at motivated and committed female students who want to address their IT careers and the challenges surrounding the topic of #womenintech.

The networking day at HPI

With a wide-ranging agenda at the networking day, HPI provides impetus for self-reflection and exchange and imparts tips and skills that participants can use to prepare for the next step in their careers.
