Each of the current 15 project teams had the opportunity to present the results of their work to the research community and some guest students, to discuss them and to work on concrete problems or questions. The programme directors, Professor Christoph Meinel and Professor Larry Leifer, underlined the importance of personal exchange for the research group, which is characterized by the diversity of the assembled specialist backgrounds and thus constantly builds new and unforeseen bridges. In addition to the exchange about the ongoing projects, there were also external impulses on the agenda. This time the researchers had the opportunity to visit the Digital Health Center as well as enjoy a guest lecture from the Japanese researcher and artist Yutaka Makino, who’s work explores perception. Last but not least, there was an outlook on the twelfth program year, which will start on 1 October 2019 with 16 projects that will once again enrich the research community with some new clever minds.
