Special features for students
When it comes to the working world of tomorrow, this concerns students as much as current employees and employers. The conference therefore explicitly invites students who want to have a say in the transformation of the workplace towards more equal opportunities and diversity.
Students can expect a lively exchange with speakers, mentors and companies. The second day of the conference in particular offers workshops to support students on their career path.
The visit to the Women in Tech Conference is also an integral part of the HPI travel scholarships for female computer science students. Details about the scholarships and how to apply can be found here.
IT companies at the Women in Tech conference
In the job market, IT professionals are in greater demand than ever before. In 2021, the number of open IT positions reached 96,000, increasing again by 12 percent, according to Bitkom. The big solutions of our time not only need talent, but also diverse perspectives, and this increasingly presents companies with the challenge of attracting talented women.
We therefore want to bring companies closer with potential female employees at our Women in Tech conference. Individual companies will be able to present themselves in our Networking Space and engage in conversations with students and attendees. There will also be the opportunity to sign up for exclusive conversations with recruiters.
