Mana Taheri is a research fellow at the HPI-Stanford Design Thinking Research Program and a member of the teaching team at HPI School of Design Thinking. She has several years of experience in designing and leading workshops in various international settings, from Tehran, to Berlin, and to Havana.
In her research project, she works as an instructional designer of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on skills related to design thinking. Her PhD thesis is a bout the impact of cultural context on design thinking education.
Mana was born and raised in Tehran, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics before moving to Berlin to obtain her Master’s in Economics and Management from Humboldt University.
Mana is a visual recorder and an illustrator. She teaches others to be more visual and to communicate ideas using basic shapes.
