The Professional Skills in the Curriculum

To be able to implement and manage IT projects, you need more than just programming skills. This is why professional skills are an essential part of the engineering programs at HPI both in the bachelor's and master's programs. We feature the possibility for students to, in many cases, set their own individual focus and choose courses from a wide range of offerings to suit their needs.

"Become a Professional IT-Systems Engineer" – Interdisciplinary teaching in the Bachelor's Program

In the Bachelor's program, the focus of Professional Skills is on practically-oriented training to support students in becoming IT professionals who can view problems holistically. Students should be inspired to see IT in a multidisciplinary context and to develop applicable solutions in diverse teams already during their studies.
